What does an Agency Section 508 Coordinator do?
Federal Section 508 Coordinators are responsible for organizing and supporting the implementation of Section 508 within their respective departments and agencies. They are appointed by their department/agency as the central point of contact for information concerning accessibility issues and solutions. Ask your Section 508 coordinator about your agency policies, guidance, or best practices for Section 508. They may also have agency-specific tools and resources for ensuring Section 508 compliance in your ICT development or procurement.

What if my Department/Agency does not have a Section 508 Coordinator?
If your department/agency does not currently have a Section 508 Coordinator or is not listed at Section508.gov, you should contact your Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). If you do not have an OCIO, contact whoever is in charge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
